Results of investigations undertaken by the practice e.g. blood tests, biopsies etc can be obtained by contacting reception after 2pm. The clinician taking the test will give you an approximate date when your test results should be back. However, please be aware that sometimes test results can take longer due to unexpected demand on the pathology labs. This is outside of the practices' control.
Results of investigations taken at hospital are not routinely available at the practice, these are usually given at your next outpatient appointment. Please be aware that hospital letters containing hospital results or information can take up to six weeks to arrive at the practice.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if you have been advised to do so.
Following Minor Surgery sessions any specimens such as moles sent off for testing usually take around three weeks to come back. Once checked by Dr Stollery these can be obtained by phoning reception.
